The voice behind the events.
Working singer based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. I gig UK-wide — weddings, corporate events, private parties, festivals, hotels, bars. Soul, pop, jazz, folk and original material, delivered solo with backing tracks, acoustic with guitar, or with a full band.
I'm also a singing coach. A small roster of students learn from my Wigan studio (in-person) or online via Zoom — all ages from 12 up, all abilities, beginners genuinely welcome. The teaching keeps my voice sharp and the gigging keeps me honest about what students actually need.

Before you get in touch.
The questions I get asked most — answered up front so you've got the lot. Anything missing? Drop it in the enquiry message.
How much does it cost to book Lauren?
Fees depend on date, distance, performance length, and whether it's solo, acoustic or with a band. Most weddings sit between £550–£1,800 for solo / acoustic, and £1,500–£3,500+ for full band. Send the details and you'll get a real quote within 24 hours — never a 'from £X' placeholder.
Solo, acoustic or full band — which should we pick?
Solo with tracks is polished and professional — perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions and intimate corporate events. Acoustic with guitar is more stripped-back and intimate. Full band is the dance-floor option for evening parties. Honestly though — just describe your event and I'll suggest what works.
Can you learn our first dance or a specific song?
Yes — first dance, ceremony song, parents' dance, anything important. I'll learn it properly and send you a clip beforehand so you know exactly how it'll sound on the day.
Where do you perform?
UK-wide from the North West. Travel inside Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire is included; further afield is quoted with reasonable mileage. I've performed everywhere from village halls to The Lowry, BBC Radio Manchester to Manchester Folk Festival.
Do you also teach singing lessons?
Yes — I take on a small roster of students from the Wigan studio (in-person) and online via Zoom. All abilities, all ages from 12 up, beginners genuinely welcome. £25 first lesson to find out if we're a good fit.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, 6–12 months is normal. Saturdays in summer book up first. For corporate events and parties, a month is usually fine. Last-minute slots do open up — never assume the date is gone without asking.
Do you take deposits and provide a contract?
Yes — a 25% deposit secures the date. Full contract sent before any money changes hands so you know exactly what you're getting. Balance is due 14 days before the event.
What if you can't make it on the day?
I work with a small network of trusted singers and bands. In the unlikely event of illness or emergency, I'll arrange a high-quality replacement at no extra cost. Contracts cover this in writing.
